Weeks after exiting Salman Khan’s starrer Bharat, Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra is in talks with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj for a film which might go on floors sometime next year.
The director had earlier expressed his desire to work with Priyanka on a project. It was reported that he would do a film based on Twelfth Night with the star.
When asked about it, Vishal said, “Priyanka also wants to work with me. And we are working with each other. Hopefully, we will start the film next year.”
The duo previously collaborated on 7 Khoon Maaf which was an adaptation of the short story Susanna’s Seven Husbands by Ruskin Bond and Kaminey.
Priyanka walked out of Bharat due to engagement to fiance Nick Jonas. However, she continued with her other Bollywood project, The Sky is Pink, opposite Farhan Akhtar. This development makes us wonder whether she exited Bharat due to her engagement or her alleged fall-out with Salman or the film’s makers. Nonetheless, work on the film is currently underway with Katrina Kaif in the lead.
