KP cabinet ministers take oath

PESHAWAR: The members of the new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet took oaths for their offices at the KP Governor House on Wednesday.

The KP cabinet comprises 15 members.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Atif Khan was designated as a senior minister and the portfolio of tourism handed over to him as well.

The Health Ministry was given to Hisham Inamullah Khan while Sultan Muhammad Khan was given the law ministry.

On the other hand, Shahram Tarakai was appointed as the local government minister.

Further, the Finance Ministry will now be headed by Taimur Saleem Jhagra.

The Food Ministry was handed over to Haji Qalandar Khan Lodhi while the Ministry for Forestry has been given to Syed Muhammad Ishtiaq.

Mohibullah Khan will now lead the Agriculture Ministry while Revenue Affairs will be managed by Shakeel Ahmed Khan.

Mineral Development Ministry was given to Amjad Ali and the Information Technology Ministry to Kamran Khan Bangash.

The advisers to the KP chief minister will include Abdul Kareem on Industries and Ziaullah Khan Bangash.

Shah Muhammad Khan will serve as the special assistant to the KP CM on transport although he did not take his oath on Wednesday.
