ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan met Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi on Tuesday.
The country’s security and issues related to the Pakistan Navy (PN) were discussed during the meeting.
The prime minister lauded the navy’s efforts in defending the country’s maritime interests while Abbasi congratulated Imran Khan on becoming the prime minister.
On Monday, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with the premier as well, with both expressing resolve to ensure peace and stability in the country.
Furthermore, during the meeting both Bajwa and Imran exchanged views on regional security.
