Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Sindh governor-nominee Imran Ismail has been officially appointed as the governor of the province after the issuance of a notification, a private media outlet reported.
The PTI leader said that residents of Sindh would always find me around them in times of need, and he would act like a bridge between the federation and the province.
Further, he said that he is thankful to PTI supporters as well as party’s chief Imran Khan for trusting him for this key post.
The governor-to-be said that he wishes to move forward with the consensus of all stakeholders and political parties.
According to media reports, he is likely to take the oath on August 27. Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice would take oath from the governor-nominee as there is no incumbent governor in office at present.
