Furthermore, 12 other passengers, including women and children, who were present in the bus received injuries and have been shifted to Swabi District Hospital.

According to police, the driver lost control of the vehicle at Bator Village on the way to Topi tehsil.

The Pakistani-born Portuguese was identified as Ikram Ullah. Ikram was visiting his native town after 22 years to celebrate Eid with family. Another passenger who was killed in the crash was a school teacher Mohammad Ali. The third dead body is still unidentified.

Earlier this month, at least five people were killed, including the driver of the vehicle, when a van skidded off the road and plunged hundreds of feet into a deep ditch near the Lari village near Abbottabad.
