Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Chief Minister (CM) Hafeezur Rehman’s degree was challenged in the GB Supreme Appellate Court.

Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) GB chapter Senior Vice President Jamil Ahmad, the petitioner, moved the region’s top court seeking to disqualify the CM as a member of the GB Assembly and claimed that his education degree was fake.

Ahmad’s petition alleged that the CM was not honest and truthful and should be removed from his post.
