Establishment Division issues directives for regularisation of govt employees

ISLAMABAD: Establishment Division has ordered to regularise the employees of federal ministries, divisions and departments.

As per media reports, Establishment Division, while taking the notice of non-regularisation, of the civil servants of federal ministries, divisions and departments has ordered to regularise officers and employees.

According to the directives of Establishment Division, it has come to notice that federal ministries, divisions and departments are not taking any steps to regularise their officers and low-grade employees on the jobs after the completion of probation period.

According to the Employees Act 1973, employees have the right to be regularised in the federal ministries, divisions and departments. They should be regularised on better performance as per clause 7 of the Act.

The order has been issued to regularise the officers and employees whose probation is completed.

Establishment Division has issued the final seniority list of Grade 20 officers of Pakistan Administrative Services group.

The final seniority list of 131 officers has been sent to related officers and ministries.

Number one on the seniority list Ahmed Yar Khan will retire on January 3, 2019, and the term of service of most junior officer Abdul Wahid Sheikh will complete on August 1, 2029.
