LAHORE: The Saudi government has deported over 100 Pakistani nationals to Pakistan, it was reported on Tuesday.

As per media reports, the deported Pakistanis arrived in Lahore through flight no 734 of Saudi Airlines where immigration authorities of Allama Iqbal International Airport gave permission to the deported persons to go home after completing the procedure of immigration and scrutinising their travelling documents.

The passengers said that the Saudi government put many of the passengers in jail, even though they were having the travel documents, and then deported them to Lahore after sentencing them for three months.

The deported Pakistanis demanded chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take steps to bring a large number of Pakistani prisoners out of the Saudi jails.
