NAWABSHAH: Mother of three allegedly killed two daughters in village Ghakam Mustafa near Nawabshah on Monday.
Speaking to a private media outlet, the father said his wife was mentally unstable. She locked her daughters in a trunk because they were irritating her. Two of the daughters, 9-month old Amna and seven-year-old Sania died of suffocation while 12-year old Iram was shifted to the hospital.
Reports reveal that the accused tried to commit suicide by consuming poison. She was moved to the hospital in critical condition.
Police have sealed the area to investigate the matter further.
