A 10-year-old boy’s body was found in Chak No 301-EB of Vehari on Monday, a local media outlet reported.
According to Vehari Superintendent Police (SP) Rana Shujaat Hussain, the boy has been identified as Hassan Ali who was a student at a local seminary.
Hussain said that the boy was strangled to death with knife being used to deform his face.
The body has been shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities and an investigation is underway.
