Rana Sanaullah retains Faisalabad’s NA-160 after vote recount

FAISALABAD: Former Punjab law minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has maintained his win from Faisalabad’s NA-106 after a recount process.

The former law minister had garnered 106,310 votes against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) candidate Nisar Ahmed Jutt, who bagged 103,779 votes.

A recount process was carried out at Jutt’s request.

According to unconfirmed and unofficial results, the PML-N leader is leading the tally against the PTI leader with 106,137 votes against 103,899 votes respectively.
