Novak Djokovic held off an inspired Marcos Baghdatis 6-4 4-6 6-3 6-4 to reach the last 16 at Wimbledon on Saturday. The Serbian second seed had cruised through the opening two rounds but the former Australian Open runner-up from Cyprus provided a real test of his credentials in his bid for a first Wimbledon title. Djokovic angrily smashed his racket behind the baseline after losing a long point in the second set but he regrouped quickly to set up a fourth-round match against Frenchman Michael Llodra.
