There were no deaths in a bomb blast in central Multan, a police official said, adding that three policemen were wounded.
“The bomb explosion targeting a police checkpost wounded three police officers,” Multan city police chief Aamir Zulfiqar said, correcting his earlier statement that the three had been killed.
“It seems that the bomb was planted on a motorbike parked close to the police post,” he added.
