Police book NA-60 candidate for ‘rioting’ in capital

ISLAMABAD: Police has booked a candidate contesting the upcoming general elections under various offences.

Dr Azhar Saleem, the candidate, is contesting the upcoming polls from NA-60.

The candidate and his supporters allegedly rioted in the capital, assaulted officials and obstructed government officials from performing their duties.

Moreover, police also lodged a complaint regarding the matter with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
