The police of Pakistan have been performing responsibly with respect to the protection and safety of the community. This duty has been performed through prevention and control of crime, preserving peace, regulating traffic and providing emergency services.
A police officer maintains current working knowledge of professional law enforcement methods but the duty envisages much more than just weapons and regulations.As responsible concerned citizen, I believe that it is imperative to know local police and what duties is it bound to perform. Unless the citizens are not made aware of the role of police in the country, the trust deficit between the two will not be minimized.
