The 25-year-old model recounted that she on her way to pick her mother when a couple of boys started swearing and making obscene faces at her.
“I am very disturbed and upset after what just took place I truly wonder what kind of society we live in? However, that was not the end of it.
“There I saw them again I took pictures of them and one of them showed me the middle finger and called me a badmash. My mother also got upset and took off one of her shoes. These boys were then told by other people to run away,” she continued.
Amna then questioned, “Why men feel the need to threaten women and girls. Will this ever stop? Why do people just stand and watch why is this acceptable?”
Amna is not the first woman from the entertainment industry to be harassed. Renowned singer Meesha Shafi has also alleged that she was sexually harassed by her colleague, singer-actor Ali Zafar. Meanwhile, Armeena Khan shared her experience of being groped in a public place despite the fact that she was wearing a burqa.
