The Punjab government has allocated a sum of Rs 4 b for the Ramazan package, said a spokesman for the provincial Food Department on Friday.
The provincial government has already initiated preparations for the Ramazan package and plans to provide maximum relief to the public this year from inflation, said the spokesman.
The government has earmarked a subsidy of over Rs 3 b for flour to be sold in special Ramadan bazaars, the spokesman added.
