WIMBLEDON: Swiss Tennis star Roger Federer showed his cricket kills by playing forward defence short in a Wimbledon match.
During the match between Federer and Mannarino, one of Federer’s shorts were called out and in return for that ‘out-ball’, the Swiss player stopped it in a cricket style.
International Cricket Council (ICC) shared the video on its official page writing: “A forward defensive that Sachin Tendulkar would be proud of from Roger Federer… #Wimbledon”.
The fans also commented the video as one objected on comparing short with Sachin Tendulkar’s: “How do you know that it’s Sachin? Roger knows that it is Misbah-ul-Haq. Roger is a great fan of Misbah.”
One Roger fan wrote: “It’s feeling so divine to watch Roger’s any kind of shots…Long live the King GOAT!!!”
