Dirty politics

It is known that Nawaz Sharif only knows the politics of conflict and he is indulging again in such politics. Nawaz Sharif is mudslinging and attacking President Asif Ali Zardari for promoting rampant corruption, rather then addressing the issues and problems faced by the country and people. Instead of presenting an alternative solution to the nation’s ills and his plan to reform the military establishment, he is now criticising blatantly.

The President, being the co-chairman of PPP, is ignoring his status of being a President of Pakistan and is indulging in the politics of score settling. He should have entrusted any of his party member to counter-attack Nawaz Sharif. He should remain above party politics. But our politicians always find ways to distract the people from actual issues. Therefore, majority of the people are fed up with both the PPP and PML(N) and consider them two sides of the same coin.

Both parties have had the opportunity to rule the country but failed to give any direction to the nation. Both leaders should avoid dirty politics. They should concentrate on how to control raging inflation, how to overcome the shortage of electricity and gas, the worsening situation of law and order and how to eradicate rampant corruption if they are sincere in serving the people of Pakistan.
