A truck loaded with 300 bags of fertiliser was snatched by unidentified armed bandits on the Umerkot-Mirpurkhas Road in the limits of Satellite town police station. Police said a truck (AEO-748) loaded with fertiliser was on its way to Bachaoband, Umerkot district from Sakrand in Benazirabad district when unidentified robbers intercepted the vehicle on gunpoint.
The truck driver identified as Moula Bux was later thrown away from the vehicle near Misson Village on Mirpurkhas-Hyderabad Road, while the bandits took off to an unknown destination. Bux reached the Satellite town police station where he informed the police. Owner of the load, Aneel Kumar, also reached the police station and lodged a case against unidentified men. Bodal farm police later recovered the truck and registered a case against unidentified snatchers.
