ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday reserved its verdict pertaining to a petition by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s close aide, Zulfikar Bukhari, which sought to delete Bukhari’s name from the blacklist.

Bukhari, a British national, had moved the IHC through his counsel and requested the court to issue directives to the authorities concerned so that his name could be taken off the blacklist.

An IHC bench reserved its verdict on the matter after lawyers representing both sides concluded their arguments.

Earlier, Bukhari had been briefly stopped from boarding a chartered flight for Saudi Arabia from the Noor Khan Airbase.

Bukhari was also accompanied by PTI Chief Khan and the duo was visiting Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.

Bukhari is facing a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) inquiry and has missed several summonses.
