SARGODHA: The status quo in a country’s politics is very powerful and can be a big hurdle at times in bringing change, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Monday.

Addressing a rally organised as part of the nationwide election campaign, he said the 2018 general elections on July 25 will change the fate of the country.

Imran said that people in Sindh, especially cultivators, are in a dire condition, adding that farmers have suffered immensely during the past five years.

He said that the PTI would introduce a special package for farmers and the improvement in the condition of farmers can bring happiness in the country.

On the subject of distribution of party tickets, Imran said that it is not possible to give tickets to everyone, and he has ensured rightful division of tickets.

The PTI chairman earlier also visited Dargah Sial Sharif, where he requested custodian of the shrine Sahibzada Qasim Siyalwi to support him in the election ahead.

In Sargodha, Imran was welcomed by PTI candidates Amir Sultan Cheema (NA-91) and Faisal Javed Ghumman (PP-79).
