A political theatre

Have you ever been to political theatre? If no, then have a journey with me. You can see the biggest political theatre of Pakistan in the University of Karachi.

From Silver Jubilee gate, you will be welcomed with lots of colourful flags, banners and wall-chalking. When you enter KU, no one is going to ask you for your identity, not even the security guards. They are just lovely people who don’t bother others.

If you can’t walk far-off, then hire a rickshaw. Don’t worry and be seated. When you reach the football ground, the greetings and slogans from political actors and groups would welcome you.

The heart of this political theatre is the Faculty of Arts, such a beautiful place it is. Here you can see every variety of political actors. Some are well-experienced in their work. Oh! I forget to tell you about their work. Due to absence of authority, they always want to dominate the other groups by dispute or by fire and call it friendly fire. That’s why, often “breakdowns” occur and it has to close for at least two days.

However, I just want to ask the authorities to reduce some of their own state provided security and give it to this theatre. This will allow more political actors to graduate from here without any problem.
