ISLAMABAD: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan gave the credit of reducing the load shedding from 7-8 hours in 2013 to zero in Islamabad to China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
“Load shedding in 2013 was 7 to 8 hours, and now there is no load shedding in Islamabad and the credit goes to CPEC,” he said.
He said that six energy power plants have been completed under CPEC, and CPEC is proving essential in curbing electricity deficit in Pakistan.
“CPEC is the guarantor of prosperity not only in Pakistan but the entire region and all the Central Asian countries will be benefited from it,” he concluded. –
