ISLAMABAD: The capital’s police and administration did not allow protestors from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) to hold a sit-in in front of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Residents of the tribal belt were protesting and calling on the ECP to conduct polls for the upcoming general elections in FATA as well.

After being disallowed to stage a sit-in in front of the ECP building, the protestors staged one in front of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

After being informed that the ECP had rejected their application, they moved on to protest outside the National Press Club (NPC) again.
