Misbah leads Shining Club to win EZ C’ship

Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq showed his class with an unbeaten century as Shining Club won the East Zone Championship 2011. Shining club beat Jallo Gymkhana by 49 runs in the final with Misbah scoring (115*) in 261-4 gathered by Shining Club in 35 overs. Jahangir Mirza (56) and Imran Farhat (43) were the other impressive batsmen for the Shining Club. In reply, Jallo Gymkhana was bowled out on 212. Tariq scored 63 and Asher showed some restriction with 40 runs for Jallo Gymkhana. Sarmad Anwer took three wickets, while Imran Farhat and Naeem Khan shared two wickets each. Misbah was named the man of the match for his brilliant performance. LCCA Secretary Mian Javed Ali distributed the prizes among the teams, the match officials and the best performers of the tournament.
