Fakhar Omar Laleka from NA-86 joins PPP

ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader from NA-86, Fakhar Omar Laleka, joined Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Monday.

Fakhar announced the decision during his meeting with PPP President Asif Ali Zardari.

Zardari, while welcoming Lalika into the party, said that PPP has always been a party for every strata of the society. He added that the PPP will take part in the coming elections with valour and determination.

Speaking on the occasion, Fakhar Omar said that the PPP has always strived for the betterment of the country as a whole, especially focusing on the downtrodden masses. It is the only party that has sympathised with the people, he said.

Party leaders Chaudhry Manzoor, Amir Fida Paracha and Faisal Gondal were also present on the occasion.
