RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed initiated his election campaign on Sunday for the upcoming polls on a motorbike.

During a visit to his constituency on a motorbike, Rasheed remarked after coming into power he would ensure the completion of Nullah Leh Highway Express project and Ghazi-Barotha Hydropower Project.”

“I will also bring back the wealth of thieves that they looted,” he said.

Talking about electoral results, Rasheed claimed, “The AML and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will win all seats from Rawalpindi.” “No matter what the situation, elections need to be held,” he further added.

It may be noted here on June 6, Rasheed had asked the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar for a delay in elections on the pretext of heat.

Giving reasons for his demand, he had said the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would be better prepared and hot weather at the end of July would be subsided.

AML Chief Rasheed will be contesting the upcoming general elections from NA-60 and NA-62.
