MALAKWAL: An activist of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was killed while another was seriously injured when unidentified armed men opened fire here on Friday.
Police said that unknown miscreant attacked supporters of PTI in Islampura area of Malakwal, district Mandi Bahauddin.
As a result of firing, one activist of PTI was killed while another sustained bullet wounds.
The attackers fled the crime scene. The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police said that the incident could be an outcome of personal enmity, however, a case has been registered against unidentified assailants and investigation was in progress.
