School principal for modern teaching methods for better grooming of students

PESHAWAR: Peshawar Public School and College Principal Professor Khaliquz Zaman stressed upon teachers to adopt modern teaching methods for better grooming of students so that they can become responsible and useful citizens for facing challenges in the country.

The principal expressed these views while addressing an iftar dinner hosted by him for employees including HODs, senior faculty members, hostel wardens and administrative staff.

He said that a troika of teachers, parents and students would be made for excellent academic performance of the students, and efforts would be made to ensure parent’s participation through an online system where they would be able to know about daily attendance, monthly tests, terminal exams schedules, papers and even dues updates of their children.

He said that after Eid, seminars and workshops would be planned for updating and training of junior teachers towards producing better academic results. He advised the senior faculty members to work hard for the restoring the past glory of the institution by avoiding vested interests and personal grudges.

He assured that every year, hardworking employees including teachers and talented students would be encouraged by awards and commendation certificates. He also announced that reunion of old student’s association would be re-launched in March next year, while school literary magazine would also be brought out with a new pattern for enhancing the creativity of the students.

Vice Principal Professor Muhammad Khan assured that all employees including teachers would extend their support and cooperation for getting best academic results and to improve the image of the institution. He added that under the supervision of the new principal, the institution would grow in the right direction to recapture its past glory.

He also said that old students would be invited to share their experiences and new ideas with the current students regarding career counselling and choice of future professions.
