ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) announced that 484 seats were to be filled by successful candidates of the Central Superior Services (CSS) Competition Exam held in 2017.
7.5 percent seats would be filled through open merit while 50pc candidates would be allotted seats from Punjab. 7.6pc from Sindh urban, 11.4 from Sindh rural and 11.5pc from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), 6pc from Balochistan, 4pc from Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) and Gilgit Baltistan and 2pc from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) as per government policy, read a press note issued by the commission.
69 seats were reserved for the women quota, 70 seats for the minorities quota and 345 seats would be allocated according to open merit.
