DERA GHAZI KHAN: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Leghari group obtained nomination papers for NA-192 on behalf of PML-N President and former Punjab chief minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif.
The former Punjab CM had previously contested from PP-247 with the support of Sheri Ali Gorchani and Jafar Khan Leghari.
Former member of National Assembly (MNA) Jafar Khan Leghari however parted ways with the PML-N and joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur are considered suitable constituencies by the PML-N for non-resident electables.
