All the top three positions in the BSc (Pass) Annual Examination 2010 of the University of Karachi (KU) have been bagged by girls, according to the result announced by the KU on Monday. Sadaf Nazir of the DJ Sindh Government Science College stood first by securing 1,242 marks out of the maximum 1,600. Mishal Maria of the DHA Degree College for Women with 1,233 marks remained second, while the third position went to Javeria of the DJ Sindh Government Science College with 1,224 marks. According to statistics, a total of 3,277 candidates had appeared in the examination and the pass percentage was 30.66. A statement issued by the KU said the marks certificates will be issued to the candidates in due course.
