NEW DELHI: An Indian Air force’s (IAF) Jaguar jet crash in India’s western state of Gujrat resulted in the death of pilot on Tuesday.
It is not yet clear what caused the fatal crash but according to The Times of India, the IAF’s Jaguar took from Jamnagar air base and crashed close to a village, causing severe injuries to the pilot and killing local cattle.
The pilot later succumbed to his injuries.
The SEPECAT Jaguar, first purchased for the Indian Air force in the 1980’s was originally designed for deep-strike missions and close air-support.
