A 16-year-old girl was clubbed to death by her uncle in the name of honour in the Raiwind City Police Station precincts on Sunday. The victim was identified as Shamaila, a resident of Chamropur Village. The victim’s uncle Barkat suspected that his niece had illicit relations with other men. On Sunday, Shumaila came back home at 2am on which Barkat got furious and clubbed her to death with an iron rod and fled. Shamaila was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. Raiwind City Police registered a case against the accused under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Separately, a 28-year-old man was shot dead by two motorcyclists in the Shahdara Police Station precincts.
