Mr Ansar Burni and all those who helped in getting the Pakistanis and others released from Somali pirates must be praised and commended. However, there was distressing news of the pirates again trying to make them hostages. This all is happening in the Indian Ocean. And no country is taking any step for a safer passage to the ships and their passengers and crew, as a short and long term measure.
While in Pakistan, the Americans are using drones time and again against terrorists. Although there are lot many question marks on the authenticity of these strikes. I suggest that the US and its allies to use drones to neutralize these pirates in the sea, who are as much of terrorists as the ones on the land. The UN must initiate action as it deems appropriate in this regard.
I am sure this step will be appreciated as this will be for a noble and just cause. They will be getting public sympathy at large, if nothing else.
