QUETTA: Unidentified armed men gunned down a Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader on Saturday and fled the crime scene.
Police said that unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire on JUI-F leader Habibullah near Arif Street at Saraib in Quetta when he was returning home after offering Zohar prayers.
As a result, the JUI-F leader was killed on the spot. It is important to mention here that the deceased was the head of JUI-F in Quetta.
The body was later shifted to a local hospital, where it was handed over to heirs after medico-legal formalities.
The JUI-F central leadership has strongly condemned the murder and demanded the provincial government and the authorities concerned to bring the culprits to justice.
