BHC organises Queen Elizabeth’s birthday party

In connection with the United Kingdom’s Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday, British High Commission (BHC) organised a get-together at a local hotel on Friday. Political dignitaries, business tycoons, celebrities and diplomats attended the party, hosted by the British High Commissioner Adam Thomson and sponsored by MCB. Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif also attended the party.
The Punjab CM wished health to the queen and prayed for a strong relationship between Pakistan and England. He urged on extending corporate and trade relations between the two countries.
Thompson said that the British realized the importance of Punjab as a province of Pakistan. He said the English had always encouraged on enhancing trade relation between England and Pakistan.
US Consulate Principal Officer Carmela Conroy, Nishat Group Chairman Mian Mansha, Pakistan Today Editor Arif Nizami, Liaqat Baloch, Zulfiqar Khosa, Qasim Zia, Aitzaz Ahsan, Khurshid Qasuri, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Imtiaz Alam and Mujahid Kamran also attended the get-together.
