Somali pirates late on Thursday tried to take over PNS Babar, the Pakistan Navy ship that is escorting SV Suez, released by Somali prates the other day. Captain Wasi, in charge of SV Suez, said the pirates attacked PNS Babar on Thursday, but the crew retaliated with gunfire, forcing the pirates to abandon the offensive.
