The Disciplinary Committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has imposed a fine of Rs 4.5 million on former cricket captain Shahid Afridi and restored his non objection certificate (NoC).
PCB legal advisor Tafazzal Rizvi and Shahid Khan Afridi held a joint press conference after appearing before the committee. Rizvi read out committee’s decision before journalists wherein it was said that a penalty of Rs 4.5 million has been imposed on Shahid Afridi and his NoC would be issued after the payment of the amount of the fine.
“Matter is discussed in a cordial atmosphere and I am satisfied over decision of the committee. I have no intention to play international cricket at present but I will think about it in future,” Afridi said.
