CHITRAL: The police on Sunday registered a case against the suspected rapist of a young female student in Chitral.
According to the details, the incident took place in village Ashriat of Chitral where accused Maqbool Ahmad forcibly took the 11-year-old female student of fifth grade to the nearby woods while she was returning home from school and allegedly raped her.
When the girl did not return home, her father went out to search for her and when he passed by the site of the incident, he saw the suspect Maqbool fleeing. He found his teenage daughter unconscious and she was rushed to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Drosh.
The police registered a case against the accused and raids were being conducted for his arrest.
