Home minister, IGP attend martyred cop’s funeral prayer

KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal Sindh Inspector General Police (IGP) AD Khowaja attended the funeral prayer of martyred police head constable at Police Headquarter Garden in Karachi here on Sunday.

A Head Constable, Hidayatullah Niazi, was martyred in a police encounter in Touheed Commercial area in Clifton Saturday. The police paid glowing tribute to the martyred cop. The home minister expressed condolence to victim family and praised the courage and sacrifice of the martyred cop. He assured the family that police department and Sindh government would fully cooperate with them in this difficult time.

The minister also announced all allocated concessions for the victim family by the police department. In this regard, special orders were issued for completing all necessary legal formalities as soon as possible. The IGP also expressed condolence to the family members and assured it that police department would not leave them alone and resolve their possible problems.
