A cornered Trump

  • And a desperate Israel

What’s new about America’s attack in Syria, its aftermath and the reaction it has received globally? America has spread its laser-guided democracy and humanitarian missions since long now, so that’s definitely not new. In its self-appointed role of moral policing of the world, America has never cared for any domestic, foreign or international law being violated. It has already relied several times on chemical attacks in Syria which conveniently save the day for on-the-run band of anti-government Syrian militants who have been avowedly supported by western powers in the recent past.

Also, there is nothing new about the trend of international response to this incident. Israel and Saudi Arabia, hand in hand, have sung the chorus of support for America’s marathon glory of interference in Syria. Similarly, Tayyip Erdogan forgot all the vows of alliance with Russia and Iran made in Sochi late last year, and like I predicted in an earlier article (Netanyahu looking elsewhere), at the slightest hint of the start of a conflict between Russia and America he chose his favourite side: the Judeo-Christian alliance of America and Israel.

Having said that Turkey shall keep showing some love for Putin since after Crimea’s return to Russia the mighty naval fleets of Russia in Black Sea have retained their menacing proximity to Erdogan (history must be read from beyond CNN’s screen for the use of word return in this sentence). Off-course, Russians realise the importance of their hold on the Black Sea, had it not been the case, Erdogan would have been gone missing in Uncle SAM’s left pocket by now. Tayyip Erdogan is surely going to keep most of his weight on NATO’s side. Erdogan would not want the kind of status Iran has received for denouncing the Judaeo-Christian Zionist designs for the Middle East as he does not have the guts to face continuous currency depreciation the like of which has been exacted on Iran through western sanctions.

The recent attack on Syria was meant as a message for Assad, but this has, in fact, left an ominous message for America and Israel

After all, Erdogan’s major achievement has been the revival of Turkey’s economy. Turkey does not even want to lose its share of “innocent” Israeli tourists who enjoy a good time in Turkey courtesy their passport earned at the cost of Palestinians freedom. The height of Erdogan’s hypocrisy can also be measured by the extent of trade relations Turkey enjoys with Israel. While Turkish airline is among the top foreign airlines doing business in Israel, Ankara is already in talks with Israel to help Israel export its newly found gas reserves through a proposed gas pipeline passing through Turkey. Speaking for Palestinian rights, Erdogan definitely does not have his money where his mouth is. But by reading some Pakistani Urdu newspapers it is evident that in some ways he does have his money where his mouth is. This is similar to our past reception of another modern Muslim blood-stained leader, Saddam Hussain, who was shamefully eulogised in Pakistan for some journalistic reasons or for the factually blind Jamaati spirit prevailing among some. So nothing seems fresh about the American attack, its support, and about the characters involved in its support.

But some developments emerging from American attack on Syria are definitely ground breaking and Israel and America must be biting their nails off over them. While America had a license to manoeuvre the fate of Arab politics through its direct and indirect involvement, when it comes to Syria both these options have been slammed shut into America’s face. Earlier, the support for anti-government militants could not bring a regime change of America’s liking and now their cruise missiles cannot penetrate the targets of their liking to bring about any lasting success for them. While Russian air-defence systems denied many American cruise missiles an entry into strategically important areas, America was quick to announce that it was only a one time attack. It seemed like a reassurance message of weakness delivered to Russians so that they might take the attack as a one-time event and may not react by anticipating it as a war against Assad.

Donald Trump came into office claiming that America did not have to show animosity towards Russia and that Putin was doing America’s work by dismantling terrorist factions in Syria. Hence, Hillary Clinton stood as the only hope for the Zionist aspirations of attaining absolute power in the Middle East after instability in Iraq and Libya. When Hillary could not make it to the white house the media might of Zionists morphed Trump’s views on Russia into a scandalous nightmare for him and this has forced Trump into a corner regarding Syria and Russia alike. Trump now has to take an anti-Russia stance in Syria after the false flags keep appearing and the maddening media is ready to fabricate anything that may help criminalise Putin and Bashar-al-Assad. Soon Trump’s one-time attacks should fall short of the expectations of the Zionists and hence their media outlets shall become ever more active in demanding and proposing an end to Assad’s regime at any cost.

The recent attack on Syria was meant as a message for Assad, but this has, in fact, left an ominous message for America and Israel. They cannot play the role of a puppet master in Syria without dealing with Russia since nuclear Russia has shown willingness to go all the way for its strategic alliance with Syria. Therefore, Russia is an obstacle towards Israel being the only power in the Middle East. Israel shall be hell bent on taking America into a full-fledged war against Russia if that is what it takes for Israel to attain regional hegemony. That is why America’s inability to make Israel happy over the Syrian conflict shall keep pushing Trump into a narrower corner.
