LAHORE: The weather turned pleasant in Lahore with light rain and cool breeze in the early hours of Friday.
Multan, Quetta, Jhang, Larkana, Peshawar and a number of other cities in the country also reported rainfall. Chaman and Chitral on the other hand, experienced snowfall.
The weather is a consequence of the westerly wave and is projected to persist for another 24-36 hours, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Northern Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to experience rain-thundershowers in the next 24 hours, says the Met Office.
