Temperature likely to rise up to 40 degrees in Karachi

KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday predicted that temperature is likely to rise up to 40 degrees in the provincial capital.

According to Met Office, the humidity level in Karachi has been recorded as 29 per cent. People have been warned to take precautionary measures beforehand to avoid heat wave.

On the other hand, various areas in the metropolis are facing unannounced power cuts, which is also irking the locals as they said that their routine work is getting affected due to this energy crisis.

Highest maximum temperatures on Wednesday were Chhor 43°C, Mithi 42°C, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Padidan 41°C.
