MUMBAI: After working with senior Indian film actors like Sanjay Dutt and Aamir Khan, Rajkumar Hirani wants to work with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
Raju feels that the Big B is immensely talented and can not wait to collaborate with the senior Bachchan on a project. In fact, the feeling was mutual as Amitabh, too, thinks that the filmmaker is a power house of talent.
However, as luck would have it, none of the scripts that Rajkumar worked on appealed to Amitabh. Now, however, they finally got a chance to work together, albeit not on a feature film. Raju is directing an ad film for a product that the Big B endorses.
They have shot the ad extensively in India, and Rajkumar is very excited with the final product. The acclaimed director loves to direct ads, as he feels that telling a story in just 30 seconds is a bigger challenge than making a two-hour film. Well, considering Raju’s record, this will be something to watch out for.
