Gandhi’s spectacles have reportedly gone missing from the Sevagram Ashram (museum) in Wardha, Maharashtra. The incident reportedly took place in February 2011 but came to light on June 13, 2011.
The Ashram employees, however, are neither confirming nor denying the incident.

They only confirmed that the other Gandhi articles in the Ashram’s possession are safe.
Mahatma Gandhi came to Wardha in 1936 and settled at the Ashram which receives around three lakh visitors every year.
