ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Monday accepted Minister of State for Petroleum Jam Kamal Khan’s resignation on the advice of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
Kamal, who was elected to the NA-270 seat in the 2013 general elections 2013, was included in the premier’s cabinet, after he took oath on August 4, 2017.
A notification issued here on Monday stated, “The president on the advice of the prime minister, has been pleased to accept the resignation tendered by Jam Kamal Khan from the office of Minister of State for Petroleum with effect from March 29, 2018.”
