MANSEHRA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday said that Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was the biggest “puppet prime minister” in the history of Pakistan.
Addressing a gathering in Mansehra, he said, “He considers Nawaz as his leader. If a thief is your leader then it means that you are also corrupt.”
Imran said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Acting President Shehbaz Sharif had spent half of Punjab’s budget on Lahore. Shehbaz had taken his brother’s place in looting the country, he added.
Imran also praised Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and said that his act of taking notice of the display of political figures on government sponsored advertisements was commendable.
“The projects are funded by the public’s money and the advertisements have pictures of the politicians on them,” he said.
Imran further said that the Sharif brothers were bigger thieves than Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
