ICCI congratulates Islamabad United for success in PSL final

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has congratulated Islamabad United over their success in the final of Pakistan Super League 3 (PSL) against Peshawar Zalmi, expressing best wishes for the team.

ICCI President, Sheikh Amir Waheed, Senior Vice President Muhammad Naveed, Vice President Nisar Mirza and ICCI Sports Committee Chairman Nasir Chaudhry in their felicitation messages here on Monday said that winning the PSL final was not only an honour for the residents of the federal capital but also a source of pride for the whole nation.

They said that PSL brought international cricket back to Pakistan which has created a spirit of happiness and confidence in the entire nation. They hoped that international cricket teams would soon start visiting Pakistan again.

They said that hosting league’s final has sent a positive message to the world and lauded Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) efforts for organizing the eliminator, semi-final and final in Pakistan and added that their efforts provided the nation with an opportunity to enjoy their favourite sport in their own country.

They said that PCB should strive to organize all of PSL’s next edition in Pakistan to improve the country’s image, help in promoting business and achieving positive outcomes for the economy.
